A few serious hard brakes in the middle just to see what would happen. Brakes work great, maybe even a bit better though I didn't change a thing 'cept clean the piston. Anyhow, that rear is still damn hot.

It's just the one side so I pulled the drum to check it and don't see any obvious problems. The shoes have different thickness linings and the thick lining is to the rear.
