Just installing the bigger vales in DOOE or GT40 heads unported is only good for about 7 HP according to old ford test data.

WebFeb 9, 2012 · Almost every head can benefit from porting. The thing most do wrong is just start removing material without knowing where and how much. More isn't alway better. The best thing to do when you don't know where and how much, is to port match the heads on the intake and exhaust. Then blend the bowl area into the throat and into the seat.
