The only neegative I see to inverters is cost of repairs, but PowCons are used in sghipyards and other nasty environments and hold up to the abuse. I'm not objective about PowCon as anyone who knows me here will tell you. The powcon 200 sm manual that I found on the net shows that "puddle control" that I don't have. I am just curious as I cannot find any references to any other powcon 200 models on the internet. I am happy with the machine.

I called Arc Products and found out that Ian no longers works there. I talked with Eddie @ X304 the 300SM manual part number is 201001-001 and list for $21.60 shipping extra.
