WebbYou can't move freely using the Option key on a surface. Place the object on the surface then move the counter/table a few squares away from it's intended position. Now grab the object, hold down the Option key and move the object to where the counter/table originally was. This will keep the object at the counter/table height. WebbThere's a simpler way. Instead of moving the clutter items, move the surface away and then hold alt and move the clutter to where you want it. Move the surface back into place and see if the stuff is where you want it, if it's it not, move the surface away again and adjust as needed. this sounds more complicated, but whatever works for you!
